Vừa có bạn dùng key Windows 7 pro tôi đăng để kích hoạt Windows 10 pro bị báo lỗi, tôi giải thích như sau:
1. Chúng ta chỉ dùng key Windows 7 pro, Windows 8 pro hoặc Windows 8.1 pro để kích hoạt cho Windows 10 pro khi các key Windows 7 pro, Windows 8 pro hoặc Windows 8.1 pro là key VL, online. Key Windows 7 pro tôi mới đăng mặc dù là key online nhưng là key retail. Do đó không kích hoạt được.
2. Khi các key Windows 7 pro, Windows 8 pro hoặc Windows 8.1 pro VL nhưng đã hết lượt online vẫn có thể kích hoạt được cho Windows 10 pro nếu như key đó vẫn còn get CID trên Web được. Khi phải call tổng đài MS mới có CID thì không kích hoạt được cho Windows 10 pro nữa.
3. Một số bạn cài Windows 10 pro từ bản ghost trên mạng hoặc ra tiệm họ cài, họ thường C-R-A-C-K, khi ấy tính năng Windows update bị tắt đi. Nếu dùng các key Windows 7 pro, Windows 8 pro hoặc Windows 8.1 pro là key VL, online để kích hoạt vẫn bị lỗi. Cách xử lí là bật tính năng Windows update trở lại. Cá biệt có trường hợp Windows 10 bị can thiệp nhiều, dẫn đến lỗi kinh điển Non Core thì rất khó xử lí.
P/S: Tôi chưa thử dùng key Windows 7 pro, Windows 8 pro hoặc Windows 8.1 pro retail online kích hoạt cho Windows 10 pro, nên có thể nhận định 1 chưa thật chính xác. Nếu kích hoạt được mà bạn kia kích hoạt bị báo lỗi thì chắc là key đã hết lượt online rồi. Key MSDN có ít lượt online.

Với các bản cài mới 10 hay 11 pro thì không thể dùng bất kì keys 7 hay 8 hay 8.1 nào kích hoạt trực tiếp được.Nhưng nhập trước vào 1 key 10 retail hay MAK rồi sau đó change bằng key 7;8;8.1 retail online hay 7;8;8.1 MAK online hay vừa mới hết lượt online sẽ kích hoạt ok ngay.

Trên Win 10,11 Pro có 2 cách để kích hoạt bằng keys Win 7, 8, 8.1 Pro retail hoặc volume Online:
Cách 1: vào Start -> Setting -> Update & Security -> Activation -> Change Product Key -> add key này vào để activate và lấy Digital License.
Cách 2: kích hoạt bằng code
Mở CMD (với quyền admin) -> copy và paste hết code này vào
